the easiest salad dressing

Manuela Donatone

Think making vinaigrette is tricky? Think again!

Person drizzling dressing over a fresh green salad in a kitchen. Lemon, cutting board, and seasonings on marble counter. Cozy mood.

This is my go-to lemon vinaigrette, and it’s incredibly simple to make with just a few fresh ingredients. Once you try it, you’ll never go back to store-bought dressings!

Make it in a mason jar, which makes it easy to shake and store in the fridge if there are leftovers. It stays fresh for up to a week!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • 1/2 cup high-quality olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

  • a pinch of freshly ground black pepper

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients into a mason jar. Seal it with the lid and shake well. Use it to dress your favorite salad.

  2. Store the jar in the refrigerator - the dressing will remain fresh for up to 1 week!
