Turkey Meatballs

Those turkey meatballs are an alternative to the classic beef ones. I guarantee you they are - at least - as tasty as the original.

I served them with a yogurt and herbs sauce but you can enjoy them as they are or with any dip you prefer: a marinara sauce is always a good idea!

I highly recommend to try this recipe using an air fryer. If you bake them or cook them in a pan, they might come up a bit too dry.

Ingredients


  • 1 lb of ground turkey meat

  • 1 egg

  • ⅓ cup of grated pecorino cheese

  • ⅓ cup of chopped parsley

  • ⅓ cup of breadcrumbs

  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)

  • ½ tsp of salt

  • 1 pinch of black pepper

Method


  1. In a large bowl mix all the ingredients.

  2. Grab about 2 tbsp of the mixture and gently roll it on your hand to form a meatball. Continue until you use all the mixture.

  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400* for 3 minutes. Spray the basket with oil and place your meatball, trying to space them a little between each other.

  4. Cook for 10 minutes, making sure to flip them halfway through. 

  5. Serve with your favorite sauce!
